CNSE's growing faculty has a synergistic blend of industrial experience and academic credentials, with an emphasis on research with real-world applications. Our faculty members have experience at some of most esteemed industrial and national laboratories, including GE, IBM, Lockheed-Martin, and Berkeley National Labs. They hold Ph.D.s in a broad range of disciplines, including physics, chemistry, material science and engineering.

The complex is staffed by a diverse group of scientists, engineers and technicians with expertise in various phases of fabrication and characterization supported by an array of unique, manufacturing-grade tools. Its activities focus is on addressing: 1) the versatile requirements associated with the target specifications of next generation SOC technologies; and, 2) development of tools, chemicals and processes for making advanced integrated circuits and nanosystems.
