The College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering is recognized worldwide for its leadership, vision and commitment to providing advocacy for, and access to, the emerging field of nanotechnology. In 2011, CNSE’s extensive and enduring series of innovative programs, workshops, seminars and conferences promoting educational, community and public outreach served more than 50,000 individuals, including over 10,000 K-12 students across New York. This unprecedented effort is building a world-class nanotechnology labor force and top-notch support network to enable the global excellence required in the 21st century innovation economy.

With a groundbreaking approach to pioneering curricula and unparalleled training, combined with lifelong learning initiatives at all levels, CNSE is blazing a new path to prepare the highly skilled workforce required to harness the extraordinary opportunities driven by the nanotechnology economy.

Community Outreach

Through partnerships with critical stakeholders in government, business, technology and academia from across New York and throughout the world, CNSE is at the forefront of creating awareness of the nanotechnology revolution and the global leadership of the NanoCollege and New York in nanoscale education, innovation and economic outreach.
